MingShang Showcases Autonomous Driving Leadership at SEA CM Expo

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – The 3rd CICEE (Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition) Southeast Asia was successfully held from September 3-5, 2025, at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC). Themed “High-end, Intelligent, and Green,” the event brought together over 300 government officials, industry association leaders, corporate executives, and professional buyers from countries including China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia for a major industry summit.

As a leading Chinese company in autonomous driving for commercial vehicles, MingShang Technology had a significant presence at the expo. The company showcased its full-stack technological capabilities in autonomous driving, unmanned control, and smart cockpit systems, underscoring its firm strategy for global expansion with a focus on establishing deep roots in the Southeast Asian market.

The company has invested tens of millions of RMB in a new production facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, creating over 100 local jobs. This facility is not only a key manufacturing and service hub for the ASEAN market but also serves as a strategic base for a “dual-export” model of both technology and production capacity. In partnership with the Malaysian government, MingShang is also advancing the R&D and implementation of smart transportation and smart city technologies.

Core products on display, such as its autonomous driving control systems, high-precision positioning and perception modules, and domain controllers, drew significant interest and inquiries from industry professionals.
